Your Assignment: Play Video Games!
Nov 23rd, 2007 by Edward Pollard
I can’t really contain in a textual form the personal hell I’ve been going through for the past month or so. Moving on from the University of Lethbridge was something I desperately needed to do, but nothing could have prepared me for the painful process that would be packing up my life and moving it north.
There are details to share, extensive details that are exemplar of the sort of personal drama that is only found on blogs. I look forward to watching my stats bottom out as I am sure that I, unlike say Dooce, an unable to spin my personal pity party in a manner that would be engrossing to the average person.
However there are reasons I came to where I chose to come - Bioware Corp. - and today was a great example of those. My next assignment for work: play Mass Effect.
Hah!

I guess I’m not your average person since I still enjoy reading your blog and will continue to follow your harrowing experiences at BioWare.
What? You can’t hear the tiny violin I have playing just for you?
Yeah, moving sucks. I literally left Lethbridge on my last tank of gas but I’m so thankful I’m out of there. The aggravation of the working at the U of L would have led me to die prematurely.
If you actually bothered to read Dooce, you would know that it is so much more than a personal pity party. Sarcastic, witty, and engaging.
Boo you. Stop dissing my favourite blog.
Thanks for the kind words Mary.
And you, wife, hush.
