Christmas in Edmonton
Dec 9th, 2007 by Edward Pollard
Every day we are more and more settled into our new Edmonton digs, and every day I’m getting more and more settled in to working at Bioware Corp. This weekend though was a time for family, as my wifes parents decided to make the 5 hour trek north to visit.
And what says “Christmas season” more than visiting with your in-laws?
We also got some Christmas shopping done, which was the biggest gong show of its type I’ve ever seen. We didn’t go anywhere near West Edmonton Mall but it was a hectic, noisy, crowded, and cheerless experience nonetheless. I was amused to find one constant theme at a video game retailer we visited…

Nintendo to Microsoft and Sony: Merry Xmas, suckers!
I know, I’ve been looking for a Wii since the summer - I found two, bought one for my brother, shoulda got one for myself as well - Dang you Nintendo!
I’m almost thinking about one of the others, but thankfully I’ve got my GH3 to keep me locked.
