Holiday Survived and Revenge of the Kama Sutra.
Dec 30th, 2007 by Edward Pollard
One of the surest signs that you will never be a seriously considered blogger is a week of downtime. So hah! I’m doomed! My aspirations of success are all for naught. Sure, I was on a farm with no internet access - it felt like I was in Somalia or something - but thats no damn excuse is it?
I’m back in Edmonton now, surrounded by an array of fine gifts. I’ve been on the hunt for good PSP games as I now have one of those, and my wife has huge aspirations as a photographer now that she has a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I got some neat books that I can’t really say much about, and we have a small stack of “Holiday Loot” to go spend to our hearts content.
Now gather round for the tale of how my sister in law had her revenge for the aforementioned Kama Sutra incident.

The family tradition for Boxing Day is to gather at Roger and Nancys’ - my wifes aunt and uncle - for dinner and typical family stuff, and as part of that a few gifts are exchanged for cousins and others who didn’t see each other on Christmas Day. Right in the middle of this small gift exchange I notice a gift to Roger and Nancy from us. Oh, I say to myself, how thoughtful of my wife I had no idea.
Once opened it was revealed to be the Kama Sutra for 21st Century Lovers: Sensual, erotic pleasures to arouse and inspire.
There was a lot of laughing - this is a pretty pornographic and explicit take on the Kama Sutra - and I immediately stood, pointed at my sister in law, and bellowed “YOU!”.
